Rum Sazerac

Ingredients

  • 5 cl dark rum
  • 1 cl demerara syrup
  • 2 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
  • 0.5 cl absinthe
  • 1 lemon peel
  • 8 ice cubes

Instructions

  • Rinse the glass with absinthe
  • Add Peychaud's Bitters
  • Add dark rum
  • Add demerara syrup
  • Add ice cubes and stir for 30 seconds
  • Strain
  • Add lemon peel
